About the event
Balidaan Diwas is a day of remembrance and tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the Crown of India - Kashmir. It gives the community a chance to come together, honor their courage, remember their lives, and make sure their stories are not forgotten.
The day is also about reflecting on the strength and resilience of the community and the importance of carrying this history forward. The program will include traditional homage, video tributes, remarks from community leaders and dignitaries, and a commemorative tree planting ceremony.
A special part of this year’s program will be the participation of Shri Ashutosh Taploo Ji, son of Late Pandit Tika Lal Taploo Ji. His presence adds a personal connection to the remembrance and helps carry forward the memory and legacy of his father. The program will also include a video presentation by Shri Ashutosh Taploo Ji.
